Who am I?
I'm Jared Ricks, and I'm a programmer. I have experience in C#, C++, Lua, and currently learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! I love programming because it provides interesting problems that require creative thinking. There's nothing quite as satisfying as figuring out how to solve a programming problem I've been stuck on for a while.
Why make games?
Making games has sort of been a beautiful marriage between my favorite hobby, playing video games, and my passion, programming. Seeing and playing incredible games inspires me to make some of my own, which is why I'm studying game design/programming. Games can be an incredible form of artistic expression, and I want to be part of that.
